Drama– One Term
This course aims to introduce students to the skills of Drama/Theatre using voice, body, language, movement and space. Students will be introduced to the elements and conventions of Drama and allow them to use this language and knowledge to create and perform roles, explore different theatre forms and create scripted works.
Students will cover 4 main areas of theatre:
- Theatre Sports
- Stage Design
- Mime/Scripts
- Dance
This course aims to be a taster of these performance arts and provides knowledge and skills which can be used if choosing Drama or Dance in Year 8.
